Default Looking for beginner performance mods that will not void warranty

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I am looking for performance mods that can be performed by a novice that will not affect warranty coverage on my 2008 GT.

Any ideas you have are appreciated!

Unfortunately there isn't much. You can buy power packages from Ford Racing and have them dealer installed to retain some level of warranty I think, but that isn't what you're talking about doing. If the warranty is very important, I have to recommend staying stock. Otherwise you can do a simple CAI/tuner package which is a nice bump in performance, but easily removed. I really don't know if the dealers can detect the reflash on the ECU on these cars or not. My warranty was doomed from the beginning, so the thought never crossed my mind.

the best mods are the ones that void the warranty.
SC are the ones that will void your warranty, except the few exceptions. but if you stick to basic bolt ons you should be fine. for a more detailed explaination you should ask the dealer that would be honoring your warranty, they would know the best. CAI and exhaust are pretty safe mods as long as your keep the cats.
