the shorties will give you a kick in the ***. you'll def feel a difference. mine made my car deeper and louder along with the catted X pipe. LT as stated above will net more power.

The stock midpipe flows well enough to warrant keeping it. Replacing the stock axlebacks won't gain you any power but will gain better sound as stated earlier. If you're going with LT's, then consider an OR X or H. If you can't lose the cats, then hiflow's with the LT's still do well performance wise.

Like it was mentioned before about l/t giving around 10 HP but also losing low rpm torque. Any idea how much torque would I be losing from a completely stock car?

Because I think about it with adding a CAI and a performance exhaust I'd gain quite bit of HP so losing some torque isn't in my best interest.

Do you have emmission standards where you live? The democrats have a big hard on for this s*it and I would act accordingly. I live in SoCal and have to swap out my LTs before its too late and I get fined. However comparing my setup to other (LTs and Pypes MM) mine sounds far better than what I have heard. Also nothing against JBA but they tend to be a little too pricey for my taste unless you get a deal on them.

Out of curiosity if I buy 3.73 gears and switch to L/T wouldn't that be a good idea. Even though I'll be losing some low rpm torque but with the gears I'll be able to boost up my rpm to help me shift gears faster.

3.73's will be a big help with LT's if your car currently has 3.31's. If it has 3.55's, then suggest 4.10's.

+1...

Also, I had the JBA shorties and I thought they were kind of a waste... they didnt really make it much louder than stock, just changed the tone a bit... and power wise, it wasnt a kick in the a$$... The sound being not so noticable different was probably due to the fact that I have magnaflows... but still even then I suggest waiting and going for the longtubes...

I had LT's installed awhile ago and here is a link to my dyno,https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...n-tuesday.html

The dyno graph isn't showing up the best but you can kinda see it
