who cares if he put 20 lenths on you at the end of the day he has to get out of his import and look at it and try not to puke cause its so fckn ugly.....

Its not all about speed people its about style, sound, personality IMO and theres a not many imports out there that are decent looking at best the rest look like lil family cars that a midget should be driving and the sound dont even get me started.....turbos sound great but when your behind that lil car its is just sad to hear how ****y it sounds.

My Screaming Yellow Stang is not the fastest car in my area, but I'm sure the faster cars do not continue to attract lengthy stares, thumbs up gestures, and "Nice Car!" exclamations after 4 and 1/2 years.

I got my Mustang with 9,000 km (6k miles) and a few mods for $22,000 CDN. It was pratically brand new and loaded with options.

This really is a random comment, but you get the point. $ for $, these cars kick ***.

As also mentioned, the Mustang is like a blank slate which you can do so many things with. Few other enthuastists have as many options as we do.

to the original post... get some new gears, and possibly full exhaust... and you could be beating majority of the cars out there that are always trying to race...

OFF TOPIC: I hate you for finding that deal. I searched for over a year and didnt come anywhere near a deal like that. What province are you in?

ON TOPIC TO OP: Keep in mind that your Mustang LOOKS really fast. Stop racing people, and no one will know youre slower, lol. It worked with my old Camaro for years. Under 200hp, but is sounds tough, and children sure think it's bad ***, lol. Avoid talking to people that actually KNOW things about cars. If you need an ego boost, drive around the suburbs on a sunny day just after school is out, and listen to the kids shout compliments at you. Now do the same thing with a 700HP civic and listen to the silence as the kids ignore you completely. Or go FI, lol

Maybe I missed something.. personally i have yet to be whooped up by any imports, V6's or turbo 4's. Mind you, i dont race everything I see either. ANY car can be fast, thats a fact, money can buy speed.. AWD are always a good race, after they launch I just run up on them and by 3rd i've pulled away. Granted I'm talking about cars on/near the same level. If your running 11's then I'm not embarissing myself. I'm all about the dig, torque and I get along well. Although rolling has never been my preference what can I say around 3am on the Hwy its kinda fun running with these little fúk3rs who think they're fast. When I was bone stock I was wrecking 350's and g35's, which I thought had a shot in 3rd on the Hwy.. A few minor mods(intake/tune..) nothing serious yet and I felt confident enough to challenge anything.. Now that the 370's and G37S's are on the road I have put a hurting on them too, as well as countless honda/nissans and a few SRT8's too. But hey i'm a realist and I know a skyline, vette, amg's, M3, M5 and those big boys will leave me smelling fumes but thats another league of cars.. Of course a little boost can fix that. Now as far as car payments, style and fun you cant touch a stang. Enjoy your car, thats why you bought it. Put in some wrench time, do a few mods even if just for show. She'll appreciate you for it and you'll respect her more. If you want speed and power the possibilities are endless.. and if you really need a confidence boost go do a donut around a loud-for-nothing ricer.

For around 5 g's (supercharger) you can put yur car into the 11s provided you have a good launch. Which other import maker can say the samething? Even so if you look in the dictionary under *** you find any given ricer's picture.
