GOTTEM! they came in over the weekend while i was on vacation (WTF is up with the SF bay area? NOBODY had a GT)
anyway they look great exactly like i expected... imma put them on during my lunchbreak at work.
I ordered them thru autobadges.com but theres a problem. theyre PLASTIC. i mean for what i paid i kinda expected at least some brushed aluminum or something. oh well it wasnt ACTUALLY specified as being metal... so its my fault there... we will see how they look on the ride. heres a pic of them out of the box. hmm the forums wont accept my upload from a mac.. imm switch machines and see if i can edit this post... ok looks like it worked.

Yeah, I agree. I was almost gonna let fly with a sarcstic comment when I saw then at first... Like why "automatic" on a badge.
But with it on the car the V-6 stnds out like it should, and the Font appears correct. Looks unique and that's what counts.
How much $$? Did they go on with the 3-M tape?

cost WAAY too much for plastic. about 32 bucks each. i really expected some sorta metal surface.. although i dont know howmany aluminum badges get custom made.. maybe i wasnt really thinkin. as far as the automatic. i was thinking about the old days where having an automatic transmission was a thing of prestige. i noticed it on a few of the old cars and thought "man thats cool." i love automatic transmissions. 
i talked to the guy at autobadges.com and suggested he use the top part of the badge as one of his in house jobs... that if there is any 05 owner that actually LOVES the fact that he has a v6 might wanna do the GT inspired v6 badge.. dunno if he wants to do it. if not i can give you guys the file i made for the cut.
