That's what I would like mine to do. But the thing is I don't want THAT much throttle so I end up going faster than I wanted. :/

I wonder if in the tune it would be possible to make downshifting more aggressive where it doesn't need so much pedal to kick down?

it's the 4.10s.

It always wants to kick down a gear, not sure if it's because of the snow tires or the snow, but it's real nice. With the 3.31s, it would always cruise in a higher gear...

I just drove from Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Cincy, OH and back with my 4.10's and got 26 mpg on them. I've been told by many it is 4.10's or bust even with a supercharger.

I just recently installed 4:10's on my 02 auto gt, I love them! I spend a long time debating on 4:10's or 3:73, other than getting about 13 mpg now, Im pretty satisfied

Wow, that's pretty low MPG. Mine dropped from 18 to 17.4. I have nothing to complain about. Would do this mod again in a heart beat.

i just got 22 MPG going 70 on the freeway going to work this morning with my 20" razor rims and 4.10 gears... i don't understand what people are complaining about, If your racing around everywhere, then of course your going to have bad MPG regardless of the gear ratio.

lol dosen't your rim size drop it down to 3.90 gears or less??

Personally, as much as I dislike the 4.10s on the freeway, I LOVE them on the drag strip. Yeah, I'm fighting for traction all the way up to 65, but I'd rather be fighting for traction then not getting the power to the ground efficiantly enough.

Even with an intake and tune as well as the 4.10 gears I couldn't break the tires loose from a roll with my car.

Stock pirellis.

Interesting...I have no problem breaking them loose in 2nd from a roll...but that's like a 20mph roll...Tougher to do in a higher gear with only an intake/tune. Can't say I've tried too much beyond a 20-25 roll. I'm on stock tires too.
