Hypothetical Question about Cats and Emissions...
I live in a state (Mississippi) where there are no emissions test but if I were to move to a state that has them (virginia) and I have long tubes and an offroad Prochamber would there be a way for me to possible add cats to my prochamber/tubes to pass the emission test then pop them off after I pass? 07 GT is the car if that helps. Thanks for any help guys.

I don't know if these will work with O/R http://www.brenspeed.com/730-2442.html but it's worth a shot. Those in combo with high flows should be fine.
Some LT setups with high flows will not have a problem; Like Kooks. Others that are on the short side like Kooks will probably be ok too. The really long LTs are the problem ones.

it depends what county you are in and which inspection station you go to. if you go to a jiffy lube or something that does other than state inspections, you might get away with it. an inspection only place could fail you even with high flow cats just because even moving the location of the cats in the exhaust is illegal.

You could also keep the car registered in Mississippi. That might work.
Several years ago I worked with a guy who kept his Wisconsin plates on for years (I'm in TX, and we have inspections). I asked why he hadn't gotten Texas plates yet. He said he kept using his parents address in Wisconsin and registering it there every year so he didn't have to pass Texas inspection since his car was legally registered in Wisconsin and they didn't require inspections.

very helpful information guys. I'm probably going to try to go with that sensor adjuster you guys recommended and a pair of Pypes high flow cats when I move to Virginia which should be after I get done with grad school in a couple of years. I just want to plan for the future so I can shop around for cheap used prices right now when I don't need them.
