Gose your car drink gas? A\C on?
Last time I had my car, I put the a\c on, well I live in florida. The car drings gas? Is tha the same for everyone or is it the brand of gas I am using.

I live in FL as well, but I only use my AC when its raining. It does drink the gas when the A/C is on, but I can't keep my foot from burying the pedal, so mine is constantly drinking gas.

What gets me is when I get to the track and the message center states that I have 45 miles to E. After 2 passes, I have about 2 miles to E. Yea, and that's with the A/C off in South Florida

I would chalk it up to vaporization. The hot weather will make the gas vaporize faster than in the cooler climates. hehehe.....
Seriously, I run mine with A/C all the time and I am getting around 22 per gallon but there is alot of highway driving that I do. During stop and go traffic, it drops down a bit but not too bad. Try changing to a different brand of gas or maybe try the next higher octane. I use regular in mine.

8 MPG???? I don't know, maybe is the driving style? I live in Fl and I used to get about 18 to 20MPG mixed, city/HWY with the A/C on. When the car was brand new I used to get less, more like 14MPG but after a while kept improving.

It could be the weather. I live in North Florida, I get my car back some time this week. I will try to change the brand, and Octane. But I still think it's the a\c. I should have my car before Friday.
After spending a hole week on the phone with Ford Motor Company, they finally made an exception and sent me a part of the assembly line. Tomorrow morning my car should be mobile again.
