redline?

what should the redline be set as? i have the sct tuner and didnt know if i should play with that or not

you mean rev limiter???

the "redline" is just a line on the tach... 6000 on our cars


Mine is set at 6600 for the street 6800 for the track

If you are asking what at point you have the most power get to a dyno......it will tell you at what RPM you should shift.

Factory rev limit is set at 6250. Brenspeed reset mine at 6800 with their tunes. I've since reset it at 6500. And I still occasionally bounce off it if I'm not paying attention. No big deal...

Currently, I have Rev Limiter set at 6800 rpm and Shift light (Redline)
set at 6500 rpm

I have mine set at 6300rpm with the SCT. Is there any risk going higher without a custom dyno tune? I'm using the canned 91 octane tune, sometimes I hit the limiter doing the 1/4 mile, so maybe a bump to 6400 or 6500 would help?
