Redfire, I would recommend getting a tune with the mods you have done to the car. The exhaust is enough to throw the air to fuel off on the '05 stangs and your timing is going to be off with the pullies on there. I would go find someone to tune that car or buy a canned SCT tune.

Hmm, why would my timing be off with the pulleys? To tell the truth, I dont have them on yet do to hassels with the dealer. Probably next week, tho. And right now, the car runs like Jack the Bear with no probs anywhere in the rpm range. I just dont want to spend $400 and feel that Maybe it has a little more go.... Or worse still, wind up like several of these other guys with engines that dont run, or run about the same as stock, or have to spend hours on the phone with tech or send a million emails. 15 horse just aint worth that to me. Just my opinion.

Just trying to help. Mine ran 20% rich with just an intake on it. If you want to be a deushe that's fine with me. You need to do some research on your car and realize how sensative the computer is.

Do you mean lean instead of rich?

I'm with Redfire on this one. Why would his timing be off with the addition of pulleys?

Mustangs timing goes off with the addition of pullies. I had pullies on my '04 and my timing had to be corrected. The '05s are worse because the computers are very sensative. The car will run alot better with the timing corrected. With pullies and no tune your timing becomes retarded. It happened on my '04 and my friends '03. I have done pullies before so I am familiar with this. That is the only reason I said anything. I was just trying to help.

Also the reason my numbers are so low is because it was pulled in 3rd and not 4th. 4th is my 1 to 1 gear. Ed said that the tune was easier to get right in 3rd but my car actually has more power. It just was not dynoed in 4th. I feel a lot better now.
