Great choice! I have the FRPP whipple HO and I am delighted with it. It is giving me 524 RWHP with no other mods than a Bullitt exhaust. The tune is critical for a successful install. I got mine from FRPP, and based on output, their tune is jut perfect. I still get 22mpg on highway and the car is very smooth. Good luck with it.

Good choice on the Whipple, eventhough all of them have their advantages....

how much psi are you running to get the 524? also with the tune did you use a hand held tuner or did you dyno tune yours?

I have already posted on this at https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...ipple-h-o.html

I have the original 3.25 pulley that came with the kit, good for 10-11PSI. The tune was shipped by FRPP based on my car VIN. I have 12K miles so far on the Whipple with no problem whatsoever, but we'll see how long it lasts.

Well with the discounts Brenspeed has on install, paying by cash/check and having a SCT tuner already the Saleen kit installed comes to about 6k on the money.

to be honest this is an excellent choice for the Shelby GT or the paxton which I think Shelby uses if you handed the car to them......I have the whipple and you wont be disappointed!

With no supporting mods, and I don't think he has the SCT, which is another $400 or so.
