DS?
Anyone have any experience with this DS?

Does it hit the tunnel, how well is it balanced?

I have that driveshaft. It is 4". If your car is lowered, there is a e-brake cable you have to relocate and some metal tab you have to bend out of the way to make sure the DS does not scape. The instructions with it descibe what to do. My GT is not lowered, so I have no clearance issues at all. As far as balance, my car had some vibration with the factory DS after I had 3.73 gears installed, and the coast DS took care of that. I have had the car up to about 120 so far, no vibrations at all.
The most popular DS on here seems to be the spidershaft, but when I went to order one, the site I was going to order it through said they has stopped selling it due to some complaints with vibration issues, so it scared me away from spidershaft and I went with the coast DS and no regrets here !

I was surprised at the difference in "feel" the ds makes. I don't track the car so I have no idea about any gains there, but the car feels totally connected and responsive. I never thought that it didn't until I had the unit installed.

Yes, i agree. When my gt had the stock 2 piece, there was always a split second hesitation when shifting into gears and i almost always had the "clunking" sound when pushing in the clutch. Since installing the 1 piece aluminum i have no clunking and the car is quicker.
