Default Water Issues

Hey everyone,

Been a while since ive been on here. I use to own a 98 vert, sold long ago but i now have a 2006 GT, i had a question. Recently it had been raining quite a bit, just down pouring. While I was driving on the highway it started leaking it pretty bad from under the passenger dash. My first thought was the heater core went out on it, but im positive its not. car has 47k miles

Anyone have a leak issue like this before?

hey everyone, did a search, i see a lot of people are having these water leak issues. Mostly from loose grommets and lots of people having trouble finding where the leaks are coming from. Did Ford every come out with TSBs about it?

How'd you miss THAT? The TSB's for the water leak are probably the most significant of all the TSB's on the S197. It's the precursor to a lot of electrical issues, mainly resulting from corrosion at the SJB in the passenger kick panel.

The car was purchased fairly recently, this was the first time it had been driven in the rain. So the TSB isnt considered a recall correct? How did people go about fixing the issue?
