Camshaft Info

Id appreciate it! I normally don't worry about mpg unless it's just going to be a huge loss. I already run a 93 tune so that's an extra .20 a gallon. Lmao. Did brenspeed change up your tune due to the cams? I've seen varying reviews but I would assume a retune is necessary for optimal performance. But at $660 or so for a good bit of extra hp, can't beat it. Anyone know how much these usually run for an install?

1.5 to years doesn't matter. Cams are expensive to install or if you do it yourself are very labor intensive so you don't want to have to do it over. The cams recommended here will all give you same HP around 30-40 RWHP with a dyno tune, what happens when you add a blower, if you don't have the proper lobe separation and overlap it can cost you HP.

Ok well it didnt work out for me to get a video today, i will try my best to get one taken before i leave work in the morning. That way i wont get side tracked with other things i need to do. The total for my cams, with install and dyno tune was around $1200. From what ive seen install prices can be any where from $400 to $800. I do feel that i am mechanically inclined enough to have installed them, but it was just easier to have Brenspeed do the install, and dyno tune it for me. And i do have to agree with VistaBlueGT on that point, but when i get ready to do my supercharger im probably going to go with a nice built short or long block and put some ported heads and custom ground blower cams in it.
