NJ State Inspection with Brenspeed tune
Anybody have any problems getting through inspection with a Brenspeed tune loaded?
Here is my story. 06 GT, Brenspeed 93 tune, C&L intake, Pypes off-road Hpipe. I swapped the stock h-pipe back on and went to inspection. Failed. Codes threw 3 errors: converters, o2 sensors, and o2 sensor heaters - all not ready.
I put the stock tune back on and went back, same errors. They told me to drive it for 200 miles and come back. Put 204 on the car and went back, same issues...
Anybody have any experience with this?

Brenspeed turns off the Rear O2 sensors in most of their tunes. That is why you get the "not ready signal" when you went for emissions testing. You can either reinstall your factory air box, and stock tune. Or you can give Brenspeed a call and they will get you a tune that will pass emissions and still be able to keep your CAI and 93 Octane tune.

I suppose it's possible that you weren't able to complete the Drive Cycle, even with the 204 miles. This link may help: http://www.obdii.com/drivecycleford.html

Although this is for CA it is still informative.

I think I got it figured out.
Thanks everyone. MOBURTO07GT hit it right on the head. I called Brenspeed and gthe told me exactly what he said. They have an 'emissions tune' for $10. I might buy it. For now though, I have put the old air box back on and reloaded the factory tune. I will drive it for about 300 and go back.

I just put my order in with Brenspeed at the end of this past week and requested an emissions friendly tune right from the gate bc I live in PA and we get plugged into the OBDII machines during our inspections too. They told me no problem and they were going to put that in my file for future tweaks to my tune
