Default Just when I thought I was all Done...!!

Well, I Finally Caved in and just took delivery of a Whipple-HO Intercooled SC along with Autogage Cobalt Boost/Vac and Air/Fuel Wideband gauges. Going to install these two in the Roush Vent Gauge Pods. At this point in time I'm still considering the new Steeda Belt Drive for Whipples. Looks like a great unit. So all this said, I'm Planning to have Steeda here have all this done during first week of December before the snow flys. My goal is 500 rwhp with a good safe tune (LOL). Keep your fingers crossed for me......

Nice!

How could it not be safe though? I could see N20 producing varied AF ratios, but isn't a SC more controlled F/I in comparison? Assuming it doesn't blow up on the dyno, shouldn't you be ok after that? (unless something breaks obviously.)

Hey 10GTSTANG..
Thanks man for your input... I guess I choose the Roush vent gauge pods
because my Ford Racing Tach/Shift Lite is discretely in that corner attached to the column Pillar.
How is your Whipple treating you so far ??

You can make 500rwhp safely with a good tune and a 3.25" pulley.

Great, 11 pounds of boost, no issues other than they sent me the wrong cap for the intercooler resevoir. The cap they sent me is identical to the radiator overflow tank, and it would not seal correctly and I got blower juice all over my motor when driving. I bought a new one from the dealership before I knew it was the wrong cap, same thing. Whipple sent me a new one, took a week to cross the country, it was slightly different and works well. The correct radiator cap is a 13 pound unit and the new cap Whipple sent me is an 11 pound unit. If your intercooler cap stops 4 or 5 threads from the bottom, you might have problems. Lucky me, I got to smell burning antifreeze for a couple weeks, as much as you clean it up, you cant get it all untill it burns away!
