Blower doods, what is your gas mileage?
I'm running a Whipple, 11 lbs of boost, GT500 fuel pumps with 34 lb injectors, no other mods other than exhaust with 3.55 gears and 5 speed. With strickly interstate driving at 70-75 mph and non boost acceleration, I can only get as much as 20.5 mph on level ground (not too much above sea level). Are ya'll in the same range? I would have thought I would get a little better than that, with a slight improvement of volumetric efficiency provided by the blower with conservative driving and 3.55 gears? I can live with it no problem, but I would have thunk better.

I am getting the 6.5 psi Whipple put on this week. As I can push 30 mpg pretty hard now (65 mph on mostly level ground and cruise. Last actual numbers- 288 miles, 9.7 gal. 29.7 mpg), I am hoping for no more than a couple of mpg drop. I am really interested in some results from this post.

i went from around 21mpg to around 17-18. it will drop tremendously if you stay in the boost at all really. i get around 11-12mpg if i drive it like it is meant to be driven. whats the point in being boosted if you're gonna worry about mpg???
