Default Tune Question

Doyou have to reload your tunes if you leave your battery unconnected for any length of time? My distance to empty light has been saying 0 (still have 1/4 tank left) since I reconnected my battery and it made me wonder if my tunes had been wiped out.

No, the tunes remain. Only the adaptive learning gets reset.

As useless as it is, your miles until empty should return to normal after you refill and reset and put some miles on her.

Nuke, something else I noticed today. I refilled the tank and the DTE meter said about 145 miles until empty which is about 75 miles less than before. Also, the MPG meter is screwy too. I reset it once I refilled the tank and drove about a mile to my house. While sitting in my garage, I changed it to the MPG meter and watched it literally drop from the 14-15 MPG range down to <6 when I turned the car off. I am going to track my mileage and then the # of gallons needed to refill the next tank and see what the outcome is. According to the meter, prior to the cat removal, I was getting around 19-19.5 MPG.

BTW, I know all these meters are useless, but it still freaks you out when it does what it is doing now!!

Also once you start saving songs if you have sirius radio you will lose your saved songs and pre-sets too after pulling power.
