Damn again, the speedometer will goto 250KPH it will show that. Anything after that is anyones guess. I can tell you that I can do 250kph no problem.

i read in car and driver the car is limited to 150MPH due to DRAG.

I don't know what the 05 body style is limited to as far as possible high speed runs, but I saw a test done with the fox body by hot rod magizine and they got one to go 201 mph, but it took 750 hp to do it with that body style. which is more arrow dynamic than the 05's. I bet it would take 800 or more hp to get the 05 to 200+ mph. I do believe that would take some kind of mod's to reach 800 hp on 282 cubic inch's (aka 4.6L).

They have both.

You can hit the rev limiter in any gear but the speed limiter is only activated by the speed sensor. They can both be either shut off or adjusted with a tuner or chip.

FYI - my '03 with a 5 speed and 4.10s (and other stuff) will EASILY exceed the 151 mph speed limiter in the stock tune. Even un-modded, I imagine that you guys could do it too fairly easily. you're a tad chubby but you have 3.55 gears and lotsa HP. The computer would be all that would hold you back, but all cars hit a wall somewhere around 160 mph where drag starts to overcome HP.

Last year's fastest production mustang was the S281E Saleen, rated at 185 mph (445hp). The new S281E is supposed to have a 190+ top speed.
