Default Best Cat Back Mufflers for the 05 GT?

I have a Mac Prochamber with the stock cats will that be a problem?

  1. Cat backs offer no advantage over axle backs. NEITHER provide any performance gain over the stock pipes and muffler, only gain is sound improvement
  2. Best: cheapest is best if you're money conscious. loudest is best if you want to **** off the cops and neighbors. drone-less is best if you don't like drone. Best to not use the term best.

Actually that is the reason I want them and that's for more sound.

the best... you will get about 3 dozen different brands as the best.

Almost everyone will suggest what they have as the best mufflers for our cars. I personally like the Borla/FRPP Stingers. But some do not like them because of the drone. They are deep and loud, but do drone some between 1500 and 2000 rpm. The drone doesnt bother me but like i said most people will suggest what they know and what THEY like as the best.

best cat back, that is almost like asking which color is the best, cough vista blue cough, but like nuke said the "best" is up to you and you alone, you have to drive it no one else does

Hey, that's exactly my setup too. I am really torn. They are nice and deep but not loud. I took a roadtrip recently though and absolutely no drone. But a little louder would be nice. And no, I won't remove the cats.
