maybe a dumb question but havent found answer yet. Does the tunner come with all the ford tunes on it or only the 3 can tunes for your car. For example could i take the same tunner i use on the mustang in the summer months unlock it from the mustang and then use it on my f250? can i just load the canned tunes for the 250 from the sct website if they are not on there?

I don't know anywhere that you can get "free" tunes. Most companies that sell the tuner either sell it blank or with their or someones elses tunes pre-loaded. But you have to pay for the tunes. If you get the canned tunes from SCT (which may be the same place that AM and most other lower quality tunes come from), they won't perform as well as those from the better tuners such as Brenspeed or Bama.

I believe the Xcal2 can be used on up to 6 vehicles but you have to return any of the vehicles to stock before you can load the tune for another. Only one of those 6 cars, therefore, can have a custom tune loaded at any one time.
