Default 2010 GT Tower Strut Part #

Does anyone know what the part # is for the strut tower brace is?

I chose the 18" Polished wheels for my car which I believe means my car will arrive without the strut tower brace. I'd like to get that on my car. NewTakeOff doesn't seem to have any.

Thanks for any help!

7up beat me to it. Call a few dealerships - you should be able to get it for less than $130.

Is this tower brace actually good? does it really help I know you can get cheap ones and really good ones.. I just didn't know which one we had? I have one on my car, but I didn't drive a car without one (all were track pack or my 3.55 with tower brace)

Hard to say if it does any 'real' good, given your driving habits.

I preferred the look of the OEM version over the FRPP version (cheaper, too.) It also is a bit more robust. So I can't deny I bought it because it just looks damn good, usefulness notwithstanding.

The OEM version is pictured in the link that dstang10 posted.

FRPP version is pictured here:
FRPP STB

It has been vehemently debated (on this forum) whether just a STB does any good or not -- search the threads. I recall a poster Legion5 giving a good (and convincing) explanation STBs and their application.

I'm thinking about getting an OEM version and getting it painted or powder coated black.

You won't be able to tell a difference unless your taking some pretty fast and hard corners. For daily driving you won't be able to tell a difference.
