ok here is where im at.... im looking for a s/c for my 08 gt i am going with centrifugal .
well im looking paxton h/o air to air or vortech h/o air to water. probibly looking at a brenspeed kit. with thier tune.. not only am i not sure which kit porblem #1. i am looking to do the install my self. now i do not have a dyno. is it nessecary to dyno after install... how close are the tunes?? im so confused right now... also which would be better air to air .. or air to water...


please help me

I'd say, if you use thier tune, and you don't have detonation, you can still do a dyno pull to see if you need to get things fine tuned. If you install thier tune and you get detonation, get a dyno tune.

can you explain detonation???? sounds like blow motor? right... yea i dont want that

air to air is the way to go?.. i read a post from brenspeed that the novi 1200 is the same as the v3.. whats the novi 2200????

The 2200 is the HO version because it has an intercooler. IMO go with air to air.

I have the Paxton 2200SL HO kit from brenspeed. Their canned tune was spot on and required no adjustments. Each car is different though. Went ahead and did 3 pulls with a/f monitored to make sure everything was good. Worth the 75 bucks imo just to be sure.

what else do you have on your car?? is that 1/4 time paxton only?

Yeah that 1/4 was paxton only with some MT's. I have since added LT's, O/R H, and some suspension mods.
