Default Vortech system question

I'm looking into putting my own kit together from superchargersonline.com. My question is this: Is the stock fuel system adequate for a low boost setup (between 8-10psi)? On older cars, I read that you have to get a bigger MAF, bigger injectors, and a higher rate fuel pump, but how do these components hold up on a 2005+ Mustang GT?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

for 8-10psi you might get by with the
stock fuel pump if that is really what you want
to do. the stock MAF will be fine. you will
probably want to go with bigger injectors
and maybe a colder spark plug.

+1 and add a bap just to be safe. As a guide look at the kit brensppeed put together. Basically it adds the BAP, 39lb injectors and cold sparks.

Yeah what these guys said. Even the kit from Vortech includes a fuel pump upgrade.

Also will need a good custom tune from a tuner who has experience with those kits (Brenspeed) and a dyno tune.

You can do a fuel pump wiring upgrade to squeeze a little more out of the stock pump.
Mostly though, you want a good tuner.
