Default Emergency Brake

Is there anything we can do to glam up the emergency brake atrocity??

I love the interior of our cars, but feel that the EB is such an eye sore!

Any ideas are welcome..... (manual shifter)

Thanks

I've seen nicer handles for them, helps a little. me personally it doesn't bother me when it's down it's when it's up that it's laughable. I actually remember laughing at it when me and my buddy went to the dealer to check the stangs out. but how often am I in the car when the ebrake is up? not too often.

One thing that bugs me is how easily the console area can get marked up by the slightest of contact.

I've put scratches in the leather of my steering wheel by swinging the seatbelt clip over when putting it on

Yeah, not really into all the chrome in the interior thing! I want to make it subtle, rather than draw attention to it! I agree with Candyman, it's just laughable when in the applied position! Sigh!

especially if you really crank it, it's ridiculous! I'm in flat Florida so i don't have to really crank it when I park so it's not that bad.

it's a little annoying how easy the steering wheel and ebrake rubber is to scratch. it's not like I have long nails or anything but I've accidentally put scratches in the ebrake handle and steering wheel just accidentally bumping into things. I've been able to clean up the leather but the ebrake has some permanent scratches now, I've never done that in any other car I've owned.

but overall it's a minor thing and the interior as a whole puts 04's and older to shame. this is the first mustang interior I've really liked. on the older stangs I put up with it because the car was fast.

Are you trying to spruce up the handle or the entire unit? If you don't like chrome on the handle (I don't either) check out some carbon fiber covers and see how that looks. They also have some brushed metal (like the dash) covers for the E-brake.
