Not sure the ebreak ever botherd me but I did sit down one time with a screw driver in my back pockett and gashed my leather seat. I wanted to punch myself in the face for that.

that sucks! the leather isn't all that strong in the GT. my S2000 had much better quality leather in it and I was much less scared of hurting the leather in my S2.

OP: I can't say that that ebrake boot is any better.

Buckeye: LOL. Unfortunately it doesn't take much. I have put marks into the leather of my steering wheel while swinging the seat belt clip over my body.
