my friend is looking for somewhere to buy a center console for his 06 GT.
his cracked when he took it off to paint it.
its not the main console where the shifter and hand brake is it the part where the radio is.
Ive seen some pictures of some carbon-fiber ones but i have no idea where to buy them and now my friend is driving around in a freshly painted mustand with a custom painted blue interior all except the radio cover
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

go onto fordparts.com and on the first page select his vehicle and then on the next page that comes up it'll ask you to install a picture viewer to use the site. Do that then get back to the 2nd page, scroll down to where the search is and type in dash for the search and hit enter. You'll see a bunch of things come up and I just clicked view image next to one that says dash panel and you'll see an exploded view of the dash come up and there's numbers next to all the parts. Click on the one that's broken and he'll be golden. Just be sure to pick the correct color for his interior.

Good luck, hope you find one. IMO, the center console where the shifter and cup holders are, is the worst design ever! it doesnt take anything to scar it up even if you try to be careful.

 

^ +1 that center console is horrible..my cell phone fell off my lap and left a huge scar in mine..that design was a failure on fords part
