Default brake bleeding

Can we bleed our brakes normally? or do we have to do something with the antilock brakes and traction control unit?

As I understand it, as long as there is no air in the ABS unit, you bleed the brakes normally. It is very important not to let the master cylinder go dry and get a big gulp of air, then you have a problem. I have read if you do get air into the ABS unit, you have to take it to the dealer to be bled.
I bled the brakes on my '06 GT without incident. Just start with rt. rear, lt. rear, rt. front and lt. front. I installed some Speed Bleeder screws - best money I ever spent. Best of luck.

I use the old 20 oz. bottle and clear tubing method. Just make sure you keep the master cylinder topped off during the process and bleed as normal.

Thanks, that's simple enough for my wife to help with. How much fluid do I need to flush it all out? I bought one 32 ounce bottle of the Valvoline Dot3/4 from Autozone.
