Default Best Power Adders?

Currently I have done the following mods: Roush Off Road Exhaust, and a Brenspeed tune. I am going to get 3.73 gears. What else do you recommend for power, besides a supercharger?

From what I've seen here. I'd work towards a cam and aluminum DS (not that the DS "adds" power). BTW, nice ride.

Long Tube headers, and I have heard that Ford Racings Coil Packs for 3v's is a good performance gain! As stated about an aluminum drive shaft will help you loose some porky weight that transfers power, and you can expect to feel some power that has been unlocked!

You will defiently need a tune after headers, and after a cam the 10 4.6 3v's are sensitive to different air and fuel ratios! Kooks is a top of the line long tube and Ive heard they are alot easier to install, but Pypes makes a nice set for alot less money and Ive heard they are of great quality, BBK also makes a nice longtube header! I have my tunes from brenspeed and I love them! Lets us know what you decide i want to see some vids

Cams and LT's compliment one another and are probably as much if not a tad more power on a '10 than a CAI & tune combo. Since you have a tune already, all else besides the cams? LT's are nickel and dime stuff.
  • Add a CAI and updated tune for ~ 5-6 RWHP over your current custom tune on a '10
  • UDP's for ~3-5 RWHP *
  • aluminum DS for ~ 3 RWHP *
  • nitrous (careful with that; dangerous if you get it wrong)
*these are not power-at-the-crank ADDERS. They reduce losses in the powertrain which does equate to higher RWHP.
You won't gain any performance over the stock exhaust with any changes after the stock H-pipe. Also, some aftermarket COPs are troublesome and don't provide any power gains unless you're FI.

IS it really worth the money to get long tube headers and cams? Do you feel a difference?
