I'm considering getting one of the new short blocks that Brenspeed is offering, either the B302 or the B281. My question is which would be the best for mostly street driven not a dd. I would be staying between 550 rwhp and not over 600 rwhp. Is there any difference in longevity between the two,I thought I read somewhere it said to stay with the 281 for longevity. I'm planning on keeping the car until they bury me. Then the grandsons can fight over it lol.

 

just so you know brenspeed will only be making the 302. i got an email that said it wasnt worth for brenspeed to do the 281. so that will help your decision.
