Default X Pipe install

I am thinking about doing an X pipe install and keeping my factory exhaust. I am a little concerned with noise of my car in my neighborhood (I do not want to draw more attention than needed to the car). Neighbors have already commented about hearing it when I start it up. I also heard the factory exhaust does flow pretty well.

First will I feel any performance increase with x-pipes? I'm going to do FRPP or Roush (Roush is $10 cheaper).

Will it increase my exhaust note anymore?

An aftermarket x will give you a little power increase over the stock h. People say the x will give you a slightly louder, raspier, more exotic sound. But i did'nt notice a difference in sound when i put one in my car.
