Default SCT Livewire Rev Limiter

I'm trying to set up my SCT on my car and I want to set my two step up so that i can hold rpms before i launch. So far, i've only gotten it to work with the Rev Limit Nuetral, which is always activated and teh Rev Limit Drive never kicks in. i.e. if i set the Nuetral rev limit at 3k rpm then the car will bounce when i hit 3k in first second third etc as well as in nuetral.
Is this because I have a 5 speed or what?

I don't think you want to play with the rev limit. I think you need to adjust the rev idle. By adjusting the rev limit, you're telling the car to not rev past 3K, which would hurt your launch.

thats why theres two rev limits. one is for launch and the other is after launch. ive pretty much gathered that no one with an sct tuner has been able to work the two step on a stick shift car.
