Well my car had the GT type spoiler on it when I bought it, but I decided to put the Shelby spoiler on it instead. The car is getting restriped in a week or so, so the spoiler will get striped then!
Yes I am doing same color stripes. Why would I get rid of SHELBY lettering, when its a Shelby?
No probs sailing! It uses 2 of the original mount holes, you have to drill 2 new ones out to the ends of the Trunk lid to hold down the ends of the spoiler. But the spoiler does cover the remaining holes and should be sealed as the double sided tape goes right over the non used holes. Only took me about 30 mins to mount. I just put down some layers of the green painters tape, then installed the screws in the spoiler and then screwed in the ones that use the original holes. I then just pressed down on the painters tape, and it left nice marks so I could drill the new holes.
hum i was not aware the the 07 shelby gt came with a spoiler i had always thought they came with a spoiler delete i know the 08 only came that way . . . i guess you learn something new everyday

Well I asked the dealer in regards to that, and they told me that they were optional, both types GT and Shelby. Since the GT and holes were already there, I figured that I would install the Shelby type. But yes I thought the 07 did not have the spoiler. Maybe the previous owner installed it after the Shelby conversion?
