Default Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger 10 GT??

Hey guys, im going to be pulling the trigger on my S/C Setup this summer and am seriously considering the Edelbrock E force supercharger tuner kit. I am wondering if I plan on keeping the tune conservative, and only around the advertised 466HP at flywheel, should I upgrade to the GT500 fuel pumps? And should I upgrade my Maf? Is there any differences between MAF's on the 10GT compared to the 05-09 GT's? I plan on using the stock pulling I just would like to have 400 or so to the dear wheels of my daily driver! I'll upgrade as I feel the need for more power, any thoughts on this for just installing the direct bolt on supercharger, anything that would have to be upgraded for this kit? I plan on running a conservative brenspeed tune! Thanks

it's up to you, personally I would get the kenne bell boost a pump, that's what I'm doing. your stock fuel pump on the BAP is good for about 600hp, plenty for what you're saying you want to run. the GT500 dual pumps without a BAP are good for 600hp, 900hp with the dual BAP.

as far as the MAF I don't know when the stock on maxes out. my KB kit is coming with a 90mm MAF (same as the cobras I think) and it's supposed to be good for over 600hp. on my buddy's 04 GT the stock MAF maxed out at 390whp and then you could see it start to run lean on the dyno. not sure if our cars still have the same MAF as the 04, if so I'd replace it for sure. if you're looking to get a Brenspeed tune then I'd ask them what they recommend for their tune.

I was looking into that kit for my 06 gt, until I starting comparing the price to a saleen. I wanted the e force at first, but things changed. Also, weren't there people on here saying that advertised power was coming from more like 6-7 pounds and not the 5 as advertised? Not a big deal to many, but when comparing. I just remember reading somewhere on here about that. If I was to go with a big boost saleen I would go with the gt 500 fuel system for sure. For a conservative setup like you want, a boost a pump. It's up to you if you want to further upgrade the power in the future; that may be a better fuel system(bigger fuel injectors, bap, or gt500), a smaller pulley, new tune, the air intake, belt. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Oh, it's good you want things conservative and simple, those factory weak @ss rods.

Hey guys, thanks for the info how much is it to have a new fuel pump installed thats what Im really scared of! I found a Edelbrock E force new for $4300 tuner kit everything except injectors and tuner which I already have. Whats the saleen cost for the tuner kit? Or do they even make a tuner kit all the saleens i see are 5k on upwards.

I don't know about labor, I do everything myself, that's the fun!

I think the GT500 dual pumps are about $700, a BAP for your stock single pump is $250. both give you the same amount of fuel flow.

You will probably need an upgraded MAF as even my base E-force kit came with a new one. Aside from the tuner kit, what's the rest of your plan for CAI, tune, plugs, etc??

BTW, you can get the GT500 pumps from Tousley Ford for $621. But if you are sticking to the base kit configuration with the biggest pulley, you will not need any fuel upgrade. I ran mine for a year now with the stock pump and airbox, but upgrading before spring and will be adding a new CAI, smaller pulley and GT500 pumps.
