How Do I Figure Out What Gears I Have?

I wish I could remember what website I found the info at, but I read that it was as simple as a math equation involving 4th gear, the mph, rpm at said mph, and wheel/tire size

add your VIN to the end of this link, see if your window sticker pulls up. Mine does and it shows that I have the 3.55's under "Optional Equipment"

well "dude", i did previously read the part where you said "Chances are they are not stockers" but you certainly didn't seem 100% sure about that. You don't even post what year your stang is and that link doesn't work for all.

Obviously, it was an option for you. If you are positive it isn't stock, you certainly don't need to take my advise. I was simply trying to be helpful. So much for taking your own advise about wasting a reply/threadspace..."really".
