Default Electrical Problems with my 2006 GT

Went away on a trip for 7 days and came back to use my 2006 GT Mustang Convertible. Went to put my golf clubs in my trunk and the trunk button on my keys wouldn't work. Alarm wouldn't work and none of the electronics would work. I took the battery out and it was dead. So I went and bought a new battery installed it and still none of the electronics work. Don't know what should be my next step. I can't even put my car in neutral to move it to a better spot to work on it (my garage is quite cramped).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One interesting side note was I tried charging the old battery and the only electronics that would show any sign of working was the reverse lights would turn on during the charge.

Have you checked the passenger side carpet to see if it is wet,
if it is do search for water leak issues and SJB problems.

Problem Solved. We got a bad battery. We returned it, got a new one, popped it in and everything works fine now.

Auto Zone has remote checkers on the counter for just such a problem...
