OP are you getting hf cats or not? If not, expect it to be way loud whatever midpipe you get.

Here is mine. Pypes long tubes, h pipe, hf cats and spintech mufflers. Mine may have what gman is calling trumpeting. Its anoying to me. I just intalled my headers so if the tone doesnt grow on me, I am gonna chop the spintechs off and get something else.

I have Kooks 1 3/4" LT with Kooks catted HiFlo X-pipe and FRRP Stingers (5230GT)
and it definately doesnt sound "Euro" or "Tuner.
I get lots of people on the road telling me my exhaust is wicked sounding.

Yea i would def go with high flow cats. I had an off road mac h on there before i put back on factory for inspection... the thumping i was getting with no headers was annoying enough, with headers i cant imagine. Def catted h.
