Default Brenspeed package or BBR package?

Wondering if i should go with the JLT tuner package from brenspeed or BBR?

Im kinda skeptical on these tunes now because i ordered one for my old v6 from vmp and it SUCKED. didnt do diddly squat.

im hoping things will be different for the GT.

so anyone have experience with BBR? one guy reported better track times with the BBR tune compared to brenspeed.....

Lots of threads out there about brenspeed saying great things. I have nothing but good things to say about brenspeed myself as well. Have ordered my sct tuner, jlt cai, gears, and longtubes from them. All tunes rocked, including the free updated ones when I purchased more gofast. They will be getting my cam business soon too! I have total confidence in them.

Car went from 13.92 stock to 13.48 with just their jlt cai and tune!!

BBR is prolly a great outfit too, I just have not dealt with them.

Yeah im sure its hard to go wrong with either one.

im leaning towards the JLT tuner package with udp's from BBR for 750.

I have the jlt setup with a single 92 oct tune from brenspeed. I bought my jlt2 and xcal 2 tuner from a member on here used. Imo, don't waste the cash and time on udp.

I have the JLT and Brenspeed tune and it is awesome! I would go with them. I don't know anything about BBR, but I would assume they are good too. You could also look at the JLT intake/tuner combo from American Muscle now that they have Bama tunes. Bama is or was one of the best tuners from what i have read; up there with Brenspeed.

I just ordered a custom tune from brenspeed for my stang. i was between bbr and brenspeed also. i liked the price of the bbr tunes but read on a post's that people were having problems with there coolings fans staying on all the time, even at thirty five degrees with the bbr tunes. i am sure it is something that they can take care of, but i just kept hearing how good brenspeed was so i went with them.

If you're skeptical about the tunes, look for an unlocked xcal 2 or 3, used jlt, and pick up a single tune file for $75 and look to save some money.

bigscott-- i live in Grandville.

I would take brads advice. I feel that there is nothing wrong with getting used. just make sure that it is unlocked and the owner will refund your money if it is not. I picked up my unlocked xcal2 for $100 shipped off craigslist. check the classified section there was a good deal on a jlt and tuner in there.
