Unhappy Car feels like it is skipping a beat???

While driving the car under acceleration everything feels fine, however, when cruising at a constant speed (45mph) it feels like the engine skips a beat, like a very faint jerk?

I think if you are a passenger, you don't notice it, but when you are connected to your Mustang as much as we are, we notice every little change!

Is this something simple or an underlying problem?

I'm going to clean the air filter today and also check the air sensor on the CAI..... is there anything else I can do? Could it be the spark plugs?

Thanks all

Cool, any recommendations for plugs? The car is still under warranty, should I just let Ford do it!?

A friend told me he knows of these special diamond-shaped tipped spark plugs that gain you 10hp. Idk how true this is lol.

yeah their called E3, heavily used on the powerblock shows, but I would like some dyno results not done by the people being sponsored by them.

Just a reminder, Being supercharged it's a good idea to run one step colder on the plugs.

Thanks everyone for the input, I'm taking the car for a run this weekend and will see what results I can feel. If it keeps stuttering (which is not all the time) I'll change out the plugs.

yup, what he said, I'm running one heat range colder Brisk plugs. I just took them out today to gap them a little smaller and they were nice and clean and happy

I had some little hiccups in the feel of the motor. I went from the preset gap of .032" (I think that's what they were) down to .027" and it seems to be running smoother. I had little hiccups in very low load at lower rpms when the car was cold. like in the morning as I drove out of my neighborhood on the way to work. tonight on my test drive it felt better but the real test will be tomorrow morning when it's cold.

the gap is very important so if you've got the right plugs in already or if you're going to order them make sure you're running the correct plug gap on them or you can get some issues too.

for what's it's worth I closed the plug gap on my one heat range colder brisk plugs and that's fixed 90% of the hiccups I was feeling. I closed them down to .027" and that's working pretty well even this morning on a cold motor. part throttle low load was much smoother as I drove out of my neighborhood.
