Alright guys im a young kid and want some lt headers and i cant afford kooks. So i want the second best. I saw that mac make the second best power? Is that true? Also they are not stainless headers, so should i stay away from them? What headers are the second best headers for our s197 mustangs? Im looking for the most power! I need opinions thx

Don't bother buying anything if you can't buy the best, or else you'll buy it again. I'm partial to American Racing Headers to me they are the best, Kooks are a good choice too but if you can't afford either then don't buy anything less just save up until you can.

I have a 05 gt lol dont let the sig fool u its a friends account. I thought american racing wasnt that good? I thought jba and macs performed rele well? IM looking for the second best to kooks.

I called brenspeed and they recomended Pypes long tubes. You cant beat em for the price. They fit perfectly, I installed them last month. $679 for headers and your choice x or h pipe. They are copies of Kooks headers. You dont have to spend huge money for headers. Just do a seach for pypes long tubes and you will find lots of positive posts.

After headers my 1320 times dropped by almost two tenths. From 13.40 at 104 to 13.22 at 105.64. Everyday driving you cant really tell except that the throttle response is way better and thats a big thing for me. I hate the lag.

I am doing detroit rocker cams next, so the LTs will flow way better than they stock manifolds and bring even more power out.

i have to suggest the American Racing Longtubes. Love mine and picked up some nice power off them as well. imo they're the best longtubes out there
