Default Just ordered Longtubes and pullies..

So I just ordered Mac Longtubes and Steeda UD pullies from Brenspeed and the sales rep said I wouldn't need a tune because of the location of the o2 sensors. Is this right? And i'm definently stoked!

Will the pulleys work with your supercharger?

You might not need a tune but you should get one to maximize the power of the headers.

I had to get a tune, because the O2 sensor locations on my LTs are different than stock. I can't really say whether or not that you need one, I would give it a try.

My o2s are already off from the tune I run right now and I have a prochamber with the pypes mid muffler system. I will not be running cats at first but will most likely weld in some highflows in the future..

You will still need a tune for the front o2 sensors since their placement changes. Otherwise you'll be throwing codes and your a/f will be off. They usually need to change the o2 timing values as well as add some fuel since you'll be flowing more air through your engine.

I said all this to the rep at Brenspeed and he said I would not need a new tune with the Mac Longtubes. I plan on getting some Detriot Rockers in the near future so I figure I will see how it goes without a new tune with the Mac lt's and then get a dyno tune when I get the Rockers installed..
