Default Just got LT's installed today!

First off, I wanna thank brenspeed. Their customer service was awesome. I was missing two O2 extensions. I called them up, they threw some in a box I already had coming with my tuner and CIA. No questions asked.

So yea, I just got back my car with Pypes LT's and o/r H. Existing axle back flows remained. Wow is that a nice sound. I had the biggest smile on face driving home.

But, there is always a but, when I got home, I installed the CIA and put in the tune for 93 octane. I can def tell a difference in the power... but the exhaust sounds WAY TOO poppy for my taste. At stock tune, the exhaust has a nice rumble unless I really get on it. Honestly, I am kinda disappointed the CIA and tune made the exhaust sound that way.

exhaust is one of those things that is almost
always a work in progress. even if it sounded great
today, chances are you'd be changing it around soon
enough.

Very true. After my Pypes LT install I too was disappointed with how it sounded. But, after driving it for a week I got use to it. It basically grew on me. Mine is loud even with hf cats in there.

Give it some time, it may grow on you. Post a vid clip.

The cai definently opens up the exhaust. The flows sound good with moderate flow through them but once you open them up they don't sound that good IMO..

I put the car back to stock, and took off the CAI. It just sound so much better. I don't want to return the two but I mean what good is it doing me in the closet? Unless R-Kelly is in there, in which case, maybe he will choke on one of them.
