Default Turbo/Supercharger gurus come on in!

Hi folks, so the dilemma is I'm looking to add a lot of power to make my 0-60 time atleast 4.2 secs. I have a bone stock 07 GT with auto transmission and I live in Dubai with temperatures reaching 45-50 degrees Celsius every other day during summer. Its my only car so its a daily driver and I intend to use it for street purposes only. Based on the above information, can you guys recommend superchargers or turbo's that can deliver?

Thanks!!!

I have had turbos and a Kenne Bell. I prefer the Kenne Bell. Less piping, parts and pieces, versus a turbo, to screw with.

The turbo maybe more street friendly, depending on the kit you want, the PSI you run and your intercooler.

You will probably need custom tuning with the turbo, probably won't with the KB or any other twin screw.

It just seems everyone with the twin screw blowers have the least amount of issues.

Daily driver and street purposes only?

If you really want a blower with those restrictions
I'd say a entry level blower.

There has been alot of discussion lately about the ROUSH M90 blower.
I'd look there.
Intercooled and not the major PSI levels.

You want driveability and low iat's. Twin screw is your best option. Try a search on iat's.

I'd say go with the Kenne Bell. immediate power and it comes with a factory tune verses getting a whipple then a tune from yet another place. when you go with the Kenne Bell you get everything you need from one source. especially when you're overseas I'd think you would want everything as simple as possible.

cool thing with the twin screw is that you would be around 475whp to start with and if you build the motor and supporting mods the blower is good for 600-700whp

candyman,

Whipple blowers make great power with the Ford tune that comes with them. Some on this board are getting dynojet numbers of 500rwhp. It also drives like stock.

Not starting a blower war here. Just keeping the facts in line.
