Default short throw shifters

hey everyone i just got the money for a short throw shifter kit, and i am torn on the one i want, i was wondering if someone can help me out. I was looking the the Hurst competition plus; the Roush short throw( with longer arm and ****); and the Ford Racing/Hurst short throw. Besides price which one is the best? i am kind of leaning towards the Roush.

Teh only decent way to tell whats best for you is to try and find someone with them installed and drive one. find a roush deaelr and drive the 427r with the roush shifter in it. I did and hated the shifter. i liek a smoother shifter and that is not the roush one at all. It is very very notchy. Teh second to third shift is honestly almost a three point move rather than one smooth and slick transition. i havent driven a MGW car, but everyone says they are smooth as butter, and its $250. Thats not much mroe than the roush. Soem folks love the roush, i hated it. a lot of guys have complaints with the hurst too, mostly squeeking and noise. I have yet to hear anyone say soemthing bad about teh MGW other than its more expensive. And the thing I liek about the MGW is that you cna use the stock ****. I like the car to look stock on the inside.

thanks guys so much I'll look into the MGW, because price really isn't a worry of mine i would rather spend more money on a quality product then have to buy another one because i didnt like the first one.

I had a Hurst shifter for about an hour. It rattled so much my head spun.

Just put in an MGW and it rocks.

Had the new billet. Rattled VERY loudly. I didn't install it, a shop did. They tried a couple things to adjust it. Nothing worked.

MGW sells black or whitw *****. I dont think you can get an arm like the roush one on the MGW.
