Default NSR comp stage 2 cams installed.

I had NSR comp cams 127200 installed today. I had AM write the tunes. I first ran it with the 91 race tune. Perhaps the tune is off a little or I need to get use to the cams but it's hesitate down low. I have 4.10s and I can barely start off in 2nd gear. I tried going up a steep drive way and the car barely made it up. It did throw two codes P2196 (02 sensor stuck rich bank 1) and P2198 (02 sensor stuck rich bank 2). I tried the 91 per. tune and that tune seems to work better; although, it throws P0172 (rich bank 1) and P0175 (rich bank 2). I will contact AM on Monday. Now as far as sound and performance. There is not as much lope as hotrods or thumpers but that's to be expected. There is however more lope than I thought, which is a good thing. After 2500 or so RPMS the car pulls hard.

Did you install yourself?? might want to check the torque specs on your fuel rail. I remember mine being really picky about not being torqued down right. I ran some rich codes for a day or so before it died out completely. Torquing it down fixed it. I'd check with your tuner as well.

Do you have any vids? I am thinking about getting those cams as well, in order to remain a sleeper and avoid cabin shaking lopes lol

Some one else install the cams, but he installed hot rods and thumpers without any problems. He did everything to or very close to specs. My guess is the tune, at least the 91 race tune is slightly off.

These are not sleeper cams. Especially when backing out, there is no hiding that you have cams.

Maybe try a Brenspeed tune to see if it still throws codes? I know it's $50, but at least then you'll have narrowed down your problems to the tune.

Keep us posted. I'm thinking of going with these cams if I ever completely chicken out of going FI in the future.

If your o2 sesnors are giving you those codes, most likely an adjustment to your tune is needed.

That's what I am thinking. Someone else said that his car got the same codes at 1st. He contacted Brenspeed and they told him that it wasn't anything to worry about.

I dunno man, if its throwing you system rich codes, your computer has adjusted the mixture full lean, which you notice in the form of poor driveability.

Personally Id have the tune rechecked. If it looks ok, then MAYBE its your o2s, burt both of them failing at the same time? ...Id have the install rechecked first.
