Default Just bought an 07

It has 18K it was a certified one so it has the 6/100K Limited Warranty. Of course dealers tell you mods do not void. Does anyone have a list of do's and don't to not mess with warranty? All I plan to do right now is lt's/o/r X and mufflers. It came with 3:31 gears shows an ADD on original sticker. I thought 3:55's were normal??? My last car I did all the little bolt on's just not worth it. I plan to save for the blower. (Realistically 2 years away) BUT in the mean time... will CAI and bigger tb void anything? Are the pullies worth do they void? Tuners? Void?

Other then that tint and center fogs. Any other suggestions?
But which grill looks better in person i have not seen any yet like the second one!!!

Only wusses let the dealer intimidate them on warranty. Theres a thread on this very topic in the main S197 forum right now.

The stock TB can handle more than you can throw at it unless you do some serious internal work of go FI. CAI & custom tunes are one of the biggest mod combos bang-for-the-buck short of FI and can add 25 or more RWHP. Cams, LT's and O/R X can gain as much if not more. UDP's are good for about 5 or 6, aluminum DS about the same... Lot's of info in the stickies and using the search feature.

Cold air intake and a good tune will net most gains. Any idea what kind of charger you will get? If it's going to be a centrifugal then invest the money in CMCV delete plates. A TB will net you some gains and will help a lot with either style charger. You can get underdrive pulley's but being you're going to charge I wouldn't.

Tune and cai is a great start. Cams and long tubes wake it up even more as well as the neighbors. lol
Try looking at a 3d carbon Eleanor grill.......it is the finest one out there IMO.

the CAI will void the warranty but it can be changed back in about 15 min flat! and the tune you purchase can be changed back to stock in about 2min... its the fastest and easiest power adder you can buy for S197's... stay away from throttle body's unless major power adders are installed.

+1 on the throttle body or throttle body spacer. I read somewhere that the stock throttle body can handle over 1000 cfm. Don't know if it is true though.

for a dealer to VOID your warranty they most prove that the modification you did is the cause of the issue your having

Example: my radio doesnt work. They cant void that because you have and intake or supercharger. but they can void it if you have a aftermarket sound system

I do not like the emblem for some reason. Lt's and the full exhaust are first if it will not void warranty.
