Are you talking about the roush catbacks that are similar to the stingers? If so, then yes it will sound good. Straight through mufflers like the roush/stingers sound awesome with an X-pipe. Granted an H-pipe will give it a slightly deeper tone but the x-pipe will have a little more agressive tone. Also the X-pipe, at least IMO will give it a better tone at WOT.

I have pypes off road h pipe with hi flows and flowmaster axlebacks. sounds good and no problems

the vid above doesnt say anything about having an X pipe does it....?

I have the ROUSH and LOVE IT....don't knwo how or which expipe to chooe either....

@jamesgribley no it doesnt im just showing wat it sounds like, since gman73 said its like stingers soo idk if they are about the same soo i just posted this up.

The roush set-up in the video is a midmuffler set-up. Basically two resonators before the rear axle. I run a set-up similar to that from time to time. I have two resonators and SLP LM as the tips. Here is a crappy video of it. It sounds better in person.

I do like my set-up with MACs a little better than SLPs, especially now with cams.
