so on my way home from the gym this gt pulled up to me at the traffic light with a 5.0 tag where the gt tags supposed to be. I laughed and asked him you want a 5.0 that bad lol. He tells me ill give you something to laugh about pull over. I was unsure bout pulling over but there was no way this guy could beat me up or anything. We pulled in this parking a lot and what you know this guy opens up his hood and has the new 5.0 engine! Right?? i was look get the f*** out of here that's impossible. He told me he payed **** load to convert this engine in. He loved his gt so bad he didn't want that look of the new one. Before i could even get a picture he got into his car and said have a nice day and left. I know without a picture i could be lying out my *** but I guess to believe or not to believe. Can you even buy the new engines?

I've heard that you can get a 5.0 crate. I'd love to know what it took to do it since it's more than just a drop swap, what with the electronics. Chit, you just ruined what was going to be a relaxing night... LOL!

Then again... to some people money is of little or no concern.

Hell, the guy could have bought a 5.4L crate and screw compressor. And with just the new 5.0 badges sitting on the clearly visible "GT" paint fade pattern under them, he would have surprised even some Shelby & Cobra owners too!

funny you said that i asked him why not put the 5.4 he said it wouldn't fit right and it was over his budget lol i wonder how much he paid for it i wish he stayed longer i had a chit load of questions. He lives in my area if i see him again ill let you guys know and nuke i know it did put a huge smile on my face then a jaw drop haha he sure did fool me. He deff had a full exhaust on that engine was stock though sounded mean as hell
