Default Traction

I am new to the 197's i previously owned a 99GT. I lowered it with C springs. Traction sucks big time, well because I cut fronts a half coil to get the staggered stance.

A blower is in the future for this car I am doing all the body stuff first and wheels/tires. My question is when you guys lower these do you have issues with traction? What is the best kit or way to go for traction and stance? I play to get 18's 275's on the back. I have seen a few of the suspension kits with shocks and all ... is that the route to go? Sway bars, lca's, panhard, and maybe a strut for the hell of it?

Start with an adjustable UCA, some LCA's and you'll probably need LCA relocation brackets since you're lowered to get the correct LCA angle back. Quite possible you need an adjustable panhard bar as well if the rear isn't well centered after lowering.

Those should help you somewhat with traction, but the biggest thing you'll gain is a lack of wheel hop.
