which performance mods would you put on for a limit of $1,500

 

I think I know the answer alreaady, but I must ask - what type of performance gain do you want - acceleration, handling, stopping, head turning?

I myself, am looking for stopping performance.

But as far as acceleration performance - most people would probably agree CAI, Tune and Dyno for ~ $900, then deepending on your needs could be pulleys, mezier, headers...

Do you care if it is street legal? Do you want 0-60 performance or more low end chirping fun?

CAI, Tuner, X- pipe, Axle-Back system, Pulley's. Depending on your ability, you can do everything yourself with the exception of mabey the pulleys which are a pretty cheap install. Your looking at about 35 hp to the wheels and about the same torque and the car will sound awesome! These are the basics, but if your planning on an SC in the future don't get the CAI or Pulley's and get headers instead and a Predator which you can sell when your done with it.
