Default short throw shifter ?????

ok so i have been doing some reserch. and im looking into getting a short throw shifter. my question is for those who have or have felt the different style shifters. im wondering which has the the best qualities or just plain and simple is the best? the 3 in mind are: hurst of course, but i have driven one with it and i love the short throws, but 2nd to 3rd was rough. maybe cuz im not used to it. lol idk ok then the steeda tri-ax. like the fact that it has an internal spring to assist in the 2nd to 3rd shift but have not felt one. and lastly the pro 5.0 which has a staggered shift throw which would be interesting to feel but again have not felt one personally. so give me your input guys and gals.

Plain and simple and CHEAP.
Saleen Short Throw Shifter kit FTW.
If $$ is no matter, MGW is the best aftermarket
short throw. Its even adjustable....

I have driven a C/S GT w/ a Hurst short throw. Shifted like a Farmall Cub. I am actually going to tell you that my factory shifter is good enough of me.

MGW with no competitor in sight. User adjustability, great customer service, easy install... the list goes on.

I have used about all brands over the years. The MGW is by far the best. I paid $309 with delivery about a year ago. I believe the price has been lowered to around $250.......WELL worth the money and not difficult to install.
Taco Bills site has the best install instructions.

hurst tend to get the rattle according to a bunch of folks. i drove a 427r with the roush shifter and hated it. the MGW in my car rocks, 7 turns and no notchy feeling and short crisp throws. The 10 version loses some of the adjustability the 09 down on has though.
